Winne Belle Learned Fund

The library recently received a grant of $1500 from the Winnie Belle Learned Fund to expand our summer children's programs with arts, crafts, music and literature. Artists leading workshops will include Beth Kanell, author of "Darkness Under the Water", Peter Mercer, musician and drummer and Rob Mermin, clown and founder of "Circus Smirkus". Calligraphy workshops will teach children a new way of forming letters. Children of all ages and backgrounds will learn from the presenters and each other as they practice new skills.
